Biography

David Silverline was born some time ago. He opened his eyes and looked around. "All right," he said to himself, "I think I will be able to enjoy myself around here for at least eighty years." He grew up, as most kids do, and started singing while doing the dishes. He taught his cat how to sing and then you could hear the two of them just singing and dancing. O what joyous days back then!

But alas, the cat died. David was devastated and decided to travel around the world, for lack of anything better to do. He sang his heart out and sometimes made a wee bit of money doing so. The authorities were often not very happy with him, and every now and then they told him to sod off.

One day, he found himself a bouzouki. He did not know what it was when he saw it, just as you probably don't know what it is. It looks like a mandolin, and produces sounds which are very pleasant to the human ear. He now passes his days playing on the bouzouki, having breakfast with the king every now and then, and thinking about his deceased cat.
